The new kid on the block from Daystar University Kelvin-K is
the force behind his first single “Unconditional Love” featuring H.M.Z and the
project “Self Realisation” that features a diverse album mixtape.
Now he’s dropping his solo single-“You”; produced by Atwal. Listening
to the song, Kelvin goes far from his first tune that was a blend of Afro House
and R&B.
“You” has the perfect mix of a light touch party hip hop
flow. Lyrically, he sticks to what’s important to him: that perfect girl.
It’s a great start; or run; I should say for Kelvin-K’s
concentration on his diverse mixtape. Expect too much experimentation and I am
looking forward to see how the world will receive the mixtape since he has been
one of the artists I have been championing this year.
