COKE STUDIO: UNITING AFRICAN STARS

uesday October 1st, and Coca Cola held an exclusive red-carpet event at the prestigious Coca-Cola Plaza in Upper Hill, Nairobi to premiere a new and exciting music television series dubbed Coke Studio Africa.
Airing on NTV-Kenya; the one-of –a –kind music show will bring together artistes from different genres and regions to create a modern and authentic African sound through live musical fusion.
The event brought together various media and entertainment personalities who got to watch the first episode of the show before its official launch.






Season 1 will feature a line-up of legendary African artistes including Salif Keita from Mali, Waje from Nigeria, Octoppizo from Kenya, and Diamond Platinumz from Tanzania among others.
C
oke Studio will not only air in Kenya but also in Uganda; Tanzania and Nigeria. From live stage fusion; the show will also provide viewers with a behind the scenes look into the artiste’s interactions and experiences.











During the event, video and written messages from various artists featured on the show were shared expressing solidarity with Kenyans following the Westgate attack.
The first episode of the show will be dedicated to the victims and all those affected by the tragedy.
