THE FAST AND FURIOUS WHEELS OF NAXVEGAS

#the Naxvegas Diary

Dear Diary;
I know it has been a while since I last posted; but allow me to tell you of the tales of the small town of Nakuru; or as we call it here in Nairobi once we drive there- Nax Vegas.

See last month was the annual Great Rift Nakuru ten-a-side rugby tournament. Well, as usual, me and my girls saved up to make this great exodus. One thing with the game of rugby in Kenya is that: it is synonymous with fun, swag, loads of hype, on-point guys and of course-the beautiful girls, without forgetting everything trendy on fashion and street funk.

But today, allow me to dig deep into the issue of rides. I know what can a girl tell u about rides? Hahaha you will be shocked! Every year; fans come out in every way to steal the show. Rides range from all types and varieties, loud music and pimped up/ souped up rides-all these add to the spice and color of the main event of the rugby game.

Most of us made sure to get our selfies to capture the rides. Jalang’o, Obina and their friends stole the show with their white Royal Range Rover. There was also an off-road red swag hammer- well equipped with water, gas Jeri cans and two spares.
The convertible Toyota MR5 aka Dad’s taxi was chilled out in one of the parking lots- turning the parking into an open-air club.

There were also two pimped Land Rovers that got the fans dancing thanks to their loud music. They also had a spade swag at the top- talk of power and swag.
The security forces also had their leisure ride round the field on their brand new Quad bikes. They gave some fans some little rides, including my girls.

Nax-Vegas was all fun and partying! And you know what they say- what happens in Naxvegas stays in Naxvegas. Now we await our next assignment.
