THE NOSE RING

#fashion &style: handy facts &pointers

Nothing expresses personal style better that a nose ring. However; unlike other piercings; one needs to factor in age and work dress code since the rings are very noticeable. Here are a few pointers to consider:

·         Choose the right nose ring because it sits at a focal point of your face.

·         Keep it simple (KISS): just remember the smaller it is, the more tasteful and classier it looks. Then hoops and studs in the right size make for a chic everyday look.

·    If you have a large nose; a nose ring will only draw more attention to it; so you may want to skip the nose piercing altogether.

HOW TO: ROCK SUNNIES

If you want to know a person – look them right into the eyes; then comes shades or sunnies, if you like. They bring in a whole new personality and nuance altogether. And depending on your moods or the weather, different sunnies will accompany different occasions. But before putting them on, a worthy note to point is your style, shape of head and state of eyes.

If you are the type who is mostly red-eyed following hangovers or physical brawls (which we don’t advocate), go for the very dark kinds that will hide your eyes. Floral print sunglasses go well with colourful outfits and outdoor events like picnics and music festivals, having in mind Dec is the month of a vibrant party scene.

Wayfarers on the other hand are unisex. They will give you an edge and bring a classy feel to your outfit. Aviator sunglasses, also unisex, tend to mysteriously make men look flyer than the females. Most ladies tend to go with the side detail sunglasses that have embellishments to bring an extra personality. Shutter shades are fun for the club.

However, a lot of celebrities and well – just some people, still like to rock ordinary dark sunnies in the club, even though it’s already dark enough. Just make sure you don’t lose your personality behind the shades.
