★★HOUSE OF PLAY 2ND EDITION☆☆ THE PHOTOS

May was yet another stunning month on Nairobi’s lively arts and culture scene. Revelers once again turned up to the hottest events that were happening and we are glad to announce that the second edition of the House of Play Pool Party (held at Jolly Rogers; Karen, 24th may) was a total success.
The month of May they say : “has the feel of spring; sun or shine, birds chirp and landscapes are green; intimating that today (whichever day) is the day to put on  your dancing, walking or running shoes and just do something.”
An explosion of rhythm, color and creativity marked this year’s 2nd edition of the House of Play pool party. Taking place in the antiquated fields of Jolly Rogers; the vent was a unique blend of fashion; art; music; great food and fun games for the revelers who turned up in their huge numbers. HOUSE OF PLAY POOL PARTY: THE 2ND EDITION (MAY 2014)

#THE SOCIAL SCENE
May was yet another stunning month on Nairobi’s lively arts and culture scene. Revelers once again turned up to the hottest events that were happening and we are glad to announce that the second edition of the House of Play Pool Party (held at Jolly Rogers; Karen, 24th may) was a total success.

The Saturday night event that went on to the wee hours of the morning was a day and night filled with the sounds, light and culture of Nairobi’s alternative urban culture. Fashion trends were all summer- ladies in their shorts beautifully dressed and so were the guys- all sharp and on-point. To say the least; it was an all colorful night for the fashion enthusiasts.
And with the Champions league finals on going on the large plasma TVs; the vent was made memorable as fans of soccer took a break from dancing and mingling and music to cheer Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Well. Real fans were the ones who had the last laugh-bagging their perfect tenth coveted Champions league cup.

So, to the organizing committee; Ayub Monyoncho and team; you are definitely on the right track-even as House of Play becomes more that an event; it is now a movement of a sort and you have everyone’s attention. You can fail only if you want to.
Off to another exciting month.
