BIOR GETS EVICTED FROM # TPF6

I love singing and dancing. I want to be a star!” these were his first sentiments when he was unveiled at #TPF6 Gala night opening. The enthusiastic Bior from South Sudan; who was the country’s only representative finally bid the academy goodbye last Saturday in style.
At one point judge Ian had asked him to stick to rapping and comedy; sentiments that Atemi last Saturday overturned and said those were what made him an entertainer. East Africa would at that point prove Ian wrong and vote to save him.
But last Saturday was a sad day for the South-Sudanese patriot. Bidding fellow contestants goodbye; he urged them on like the loyal voice of a Spartan king; “to the top guys! There is no stopping or giving up.” He then turned with a witty smile and joked to Fess, “Take good care of her (Nyambura) for me!”

The faculty ended up saving Patrick; with East Africa voting to save Naymbura and the fellow contestants decided to keep the Ugandan Sitenda in the house.
Even so; this past week did see versatile singer; composer and showbiz entrepreneur and boss lady Muthoni Ndoga aka MDQ (Muthoni Drummer Queen) become the first female M.D (Music Director) in the history of TPF to work with the contestants.
She charged them to think of them selves not as contestants but as music-stars and on Sunday; East Africa grooved to her week-long coaching and directing with the contestants.
She was first on stage with electrifying hits from her self titled sold out album-MDQ. It was the first time she was performing hits from her new album before a live audience; curtain raising for the contestants who did urban contemporary hits from he big acts of Africa and the world including; Busy Signal; Chameleone; D’Banj among other stars.

This week the voting power of East Africa will be put to the test with the king of probation Fess and the ladies’ duo of Amos and Josh both on probation. Other contestants on probation this week are Sitenda and Hope from Uganda and Burundi respectively. Sunday saw Phionah rushed to the hospital after leaving the stage with a tooth ache issue.
I am getting way ahead of myself here! With the competition already halfway gone; this is the last crucial stretch to the finish line. It will be great to see how East Africa votes this coming weekend because in my opinion this weekend may decide who the top contenders are for the 5m in store. Do stay tuned!

KTN’S THE BIBLE SERIES GENERATES INTEREST ON SOCIAL MEDIA

@stellakagendo: red sea drama: Pharaoh versus Moses and his people. The parting of the sea is spectacular #the bible

@wachukamugo: brilliant idea for KTN to air #The Bible, something we can comfortably watch with the kids. Easy way to learn the Bible

@Laura_Onchiri: hehe! So this show “The Bible” on KTN, the guy acting as Samson is black with long dreads. Lol!

@Mcmark_G: wait… Moses should be speaking like Dennis Oliech. The Bible overlooked that important detail.

@EdwinQul: damn this programme called #The Bible is so epic. Kudos to the director.

@SupaNovastir: @KTNKenya, I am glad from the #The Bible series. Great decision. Kids can at least have something useful to watch. I am enjoying as well!

@BettyOmoro: @KTNKenya, this is the best thing you have done this season.
