The don’ts of taking a selfie snap

# (hashtag) SELFIE

1.      Don’t tag everyone into everything you do. Be selective before they brand you a socialite.
2.      Don’t take selfies on funerals. Ironically, funerals were off-limits as selfie-zones; before the leader of the free world overshadowed the most iconic funeral yet.
3.      Don’t settle for one shot-it takes 100 images to get one perfect shot. Keep snapping until you have three hard-to-pick options, then choose the best and post.
4.      Don’t go full frontal unless you photograph well that way. Know your “good side” and angle yourself body and face to the side ever so slightly.
5.      A direct shot with your arm raised will focus on your face yes but also draw attention to your cleavage. While that sounds interesting and sexy, selfies, repeat after me, do not belong to you. They belong to the public.
