#MATATUMADNESS
Operations along Thika-Road superhighway; one of Nairobi’s
busiest roads; came to a stand-still today morning as matatu operators blocked
the road; forcing passengers to walk all the way to the CBD.
This writer was caught up in the 5.30am madness while making
his way into town and I took out my camera to get a shot of it. Talk about
Nairobi being turned from a “working nation” to a “walking nation”.
The matatu strike madness is officially here!
