Good Morning all,
I received an absolutely amazing testimony over the weekend and I just wanted to share it with everyone especially all those who are bloggers or business owners; it really goes to show the power of the tongue! Wow! I emphasise this a lot and I pray this testimony will show you the true power of the tongue and the power of faith and prophecy.
I received an email from a blogger on the 23rd of July 2012 testifying about God’s goodness! He said it had been two months since he started his blog and since Day 1, He had received 828 collective page views in two months! To many of us that is very little but I was touched by his testimony because he was grateful to God. This is his email below-
I was very humbled by his testimony and so I gave him a very short but prophetic reply- This was my reply to him- Wonderful! Keep celebrating God and He will announce and decorate you! Congratulations; I decree a ten fold increase for your blog. AMEN. I however got a huge shock when he emailed me on Friday to testify of the Lord’s goodness!

I once read somewhere that a society that moves forward without a pause and reflecting on where they have come from, then they is doomed. “40 brave souls for Christ”, that was our first post when we began this blog way back on May 25th 2012. Now, forging forward, we pause to look back and reflect at what God has done ever since we began through our writings on this blog. From just 2 page views when we first began, we now stand at an all time 828 page views and the number of visitors to our blog keeps growing by the day. I never dreamt I would have readers from other nations but to say the least we have nearly one reader from each continent and that is encouraging.

Wow! indeeed as the power of the word declares that death and life is in our tongues- you once prophesied in an email-”Wonderful! Keep celebrating God and He will announce and decorate you! Congratulations; I decree a ten fold increase for your blog. AMEN.” To say the least God has been faithful and done that my blog is about to hit its first 10000 views…
and so indeed i stand to bring all the glory and honor to God coz He DECLARES THAT ALL GLORY BELONG TO HIM AND CANNOT BE SHARED BY MAN.THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORD OF SEASON TOO AND SO AS IT HAS BEEN WELL WITH ME MAY IT BE SO AND EVEN MORE WITH YOU
This is just so amazing and I am so happy for him! It took him 2 months to reach 800 views but within another month and a half, God increased his views to more than 9000 views! I mean, that is absolutely amazing! More than a ten fold increase! That is why no matter what you are going through, praise the Lord and testify of His goodness! Declare great and mighty things for yourself and when you receive a word of prophecy, hold on to it and believe God! As God has done for this reader/blogger, the Lord shall do for all of us! I declare a further twenty fold increase on his blog and for the POZ Blog.
I pray for all the bloggers, workers, business owners and readers in the house, the Lord shall give us all a fifty fold increase! This indeed is our season of enlargement and increase beyond all borders! It is well with us! The Lord shall promote and increase us, our businesses, blogs and all that we lay our hands upon! In Jesus’ Mighty Name I pray! Amen! Amen and Amen! God bless you all and I look forward to reading more testimonies from you!

University Girls Take Prostitution To Facebook
University Girls Take Prostitution To Facebook
Campus Divas For Rich Men is a Facebook page that has elicited lots of interest especially after receiving special airtime during Kiss 100's rush hour with Kalekye and Shaffie and this morning from Caroline Mutoko. The page is dedicated to hooking up University girls under 26 with rich men of any age.
In a period of less than 2 months, the page has accumulated close to 10,000 likes, with 7000 of those gained less than 24 hours after Kiss 100 highlighted their plight.
The administrator of the page constantly posts pictures and descriptions of University 'divas' and what they would want in a man. In all those posts, rich is usually the bottom line. There is a very clear policy in the page that sufferers and ugly chicks are not welcome, and this is a point the admin keeps putting across. This is how he / she does it.
wow! divas and rich men who are invading our inbox that's very cool, we will reply your texts in time...As for the sufferers continue yapping
If you are a sufferer, a struggler you cannot find help here, you need divine help. Call on the lord to come 4 ur rescue. Here we only help rich men we do not tolerate hustlers here
This is PLACE FOR DIVAS!! UGLY apes go jump on trees this is not a place for you
Sufferers keep off the page. go wank elsewhere
It had been thought that the pictures posted by the administrator are random internet images, but Kiss 100 callers yesterday confirmed that they indeed recognize some of those girls. Some said they were their friends who refused to heed to their advise and not only joined the page but also sent the admin their details.
Despite the numerous negative comments the page receives, the divas rarely take notice. The admin always put on a brave face. He or she even organizes parties where they take the online hook ups offline.

'Campus Divas for rich men' not monsters but the society's collective morality'
I guess by now you already know who “Campus Divas For Rich Men” are. It is a Facebook group which claims to be a conglomeration of girls from universities across the country whose agenda is one; provide sexual pleasures for rich men in exchange of big money to offer and sustain elegant lifestyle in universities.
But there is a twist. ‘Campus Divas’ aren’t for cheap men. They despise men to whom they refer as “masufferers”-which when loosely translated, the slang word implies poor men.
All said and done, ‘campus Divas for rich men’ in my opinion isn’t the reason for decline of morality in our society. They are symptomatic of our already ‘sick’ society. Yet the “campus Divas” have magnificently captured media attention and curiously aroused our collective imagination.
The debate has turned into a national conversation. The social media is buzzing. While most people are in doubt on whether ‘Divas for rich men’ represent interests of all campus girls, they unanimously agree on one thing-the Facebook group has embraced a deviant behavior.
Condemnation has been loud and abundantly clear across the board: The ‘Divas’ are wrong. It seems the so called ‘campus Divas’ are being widely condemned from a religious and/or moralistic perspective.
A majority of Kenyans have condemned the group and branded it ‘evil.’ Others have questioned whether the self-proclaimed ‘campus divas’ have in essence created a prostitution ring disguised as a socialization group. As a matter of fact, some Facebook ‘administrators’ diametrically opposed to the agenda of the ‘campus Divas’ have established counter oppositional groups.
In response to the above allegations, the ‘Divas’ have come out fighting. In unapologetic statement to their critiques including the media, the administrator of the Facebook group which so far has been “Liked” by 44, 659 followers asserted: “As far as we are concerned we are NOT a prostitution page, we are simply hooking up people who want to find loved ones. Nowhere in the constitution of Kenya states that a young girl should not fall in love or hook up with a wealthy man, so…frankly speaking we are disgusted our portrayal by the media. We know the law very well and you'll be shocked to know that amongst ourselves we have final year law students. We simply offer solutions to the need in the current society, society is dynamic not static. If you don't like it, if you are very intolerant, very righteous, very conservative, if you are very archaic and fossil, Please mind your business and we will mind ours.”
But even as we grapple with moral questions presented by ‘campus Divas’ situation, it is imperative to understand that decline of morality in universities and in societies around the world aren’t exclusively Kenyan.
They are universal. It is happening in developed countries as well. Take United States for example. Faced with a lackluster economy, substantial amount of student loan debt and personal needs, more than ever before college students have resorted to the unconventional way of earning money.
They are pleasuring rich men with sex in exchange for big money. The Huffington post reported recently “Rich guys well past their prime have been plunking down money… in search of a tryst or something more with women half their age… and women, willingly or not, have made themselves available.
With the whole process going digital, women passing through a system of higher education that fosters indebtedness are using the anonymity of the web to sell their wares and pay down their college loans.” But here is a shocker and a ‘tell all’ website www.seekingarrangement.com. This website is “the elite sugar daddies dating site for those [college girls] seeking mutually beneficial relationships.” Moreover, the website encourages “attractive, intelligent, ambitious and goal oriented …sugar babies…students…to date someone who will pamper you…empower you and help you mentally, emotionally and financially.” By and large, this is quintessentially American way-whereby choices are in your hands. The powers to decide, associate, move and do things are in the individual’s hands.
Fast forward to Kenya and you discover that while ‘campus Divas’ are attempting to play a card that resonates well in the western worlds, they have equally presented a couple of complicates scenarios.
On one hand, there is no doubt the ‘campus Divas’ took a huge risk within a conservative society to bring into public domain that which is already happening behind the curtains. The ‘campus Divas’ have in essence provoked a national debate about the decline of morality in our country, which in itself is a good thing. On the other hand, however, the agenda presented by ‘campus Divas’ appear to be opposed to moral values of any given society.
All things considered and in order for us to understand the moral complexity created by the ‘campus Divas’, we have to critically examine a couple of undeniable truths within the context of our Kenyan society.
Number one, the ‘campus Divas’ are at least 18years and older which according to Kenyan laws, automatically makes them adults, a context within which they have a right to express their conscience and will without being intimidated as long as they do not violate the boundaries of the law.
Two, the ‘campus Divas’ have got a right to choose whoever they want for association and relationship. We cannot choose or decide on their behalf. In this particular case, they are abundantly clear-they have chosen rich men. So what? Who doesn’t want to be rich? After all most Kenyans including a majority of politicians and pastors are using every means possible including but not limited to corruption and performance of fake miracles to attain riches.
While two wrongs doesn’t make a right, they open a window through which we can see our society as it is and make difficult yet sound decisions whose long term benefits will be for the betterment of our children and children’s children.
Three, ‘campus Divas’ basically ‘officialized’ and brought into limelight that which is already happening behind the walls of universities. Which begs the question: Are the so called “campus Divas” victims of peer pressure, poverty, immorality or they are simply practicing post-modernism? Be the judge.
However, in my carefully considered opinion, these “campus Divas” are a reflection of our collective national character. In essence, the ‘campus Divas’ have indicted our collective character and conscience which more often than not deny the “fallen” state of our national morality.
In the wider scheme of things, the difference between ‘us’ who are condemning and the “Divas” who have come out of their closet is courage. While ‘we’, the condemning lot is in denial about the moral decadence of our society; the ‘Divas’ have tenacity to own-up to their ‘immorality.’ They have said ‘this is who we are; you can like us or hate us.’
In my opinion, the ‘campus Divas’ have invited us to an honest discussion concerning the decline of morality in private and public spheres of our society. Instead of living in constant denial about our fallen morality, let us confront our ‘fallenness’, sanitize our institutions and reclaim our souls and character. From a general perspective, “Campus Divas for rich men’ are telling us that our national conscience is no longer able to distinguish between good and bad. Further, the ‘Divas’ are saying our individual and collective morality is at an all-time low- we are void of values that can unite and arouse our consciences to do that which is good for this generation and the generations to come.
Instead of condemning “Campus Divas” let us introspectively reflect on our individual and communal character. Let us have an honest national conversation about the moral state of our country.
The ‘campus Divas’ are just but mirroring and channeling what they learnt from a society whose heart love and adores wealth over character. In economic terms it is called capitalism-unregulated is disastrous.
Moreover, the undeniable truth is: The rot within our institutions including churches and parliament is unprecedented. We need a holistic approach to heal every institution in our country from self-inflicted moral decadence. It is technically unfair and hypocritical in principle to point accusing finger at the ‘campus Divas’ while pretending to be ‘holier than thou.’
Our entire society, from the parliament to churches, from schools to government offices require a revival and ‘surgery’ of sought to heal and reclaim our lost glory.
But we can arise and shine if we responsibly propagate good morals into our society. Otherwise you better believe me, until we fix the moral state of our nation; we will never ever attain greater political, social, economic and religious dispensations.
Without a moral compass to guide us, we will be like children of Israel coming from Egyptian captivity heading towards a promised land. They wondered in the wilderness for a long time before they got there. Moral integrity (not religiosity but ability to draw a distinction between good and bad, right and wrong) is the foundation upon which societies define their values, relate with each other, attain development and achieve greatest ambitions ever known to mankind.
The measure of a greater society doesn’t exist in hypocrisy but in their ability to discuss difficult conversation and find a solution to difficult issues. But Listen! ‘Campus Divas for rich men’ are not the monsters we are projecting in the media. Rather, they are the embodiment of our collective morality. In the ‘campus Divas’, lies the image of our society.

FORTIFICATION OF FATS AND OILS IN KENYA
INTRO
The Health Ministers of the East, Central and Southern Africa (ECSA) Health Community passed a resolution in 2002 directing the Secretariat to work with the countries to fortify commonly consumed foods in the region after recognizing that the high levels of malnutrition in the region. Following initial promotion efforts, the countries identified staple foods suitable for fortification as oil, sugar,
Maize meal/ flour and wheat flour. These foods can be used as vehicles to deliver essential micronutrients to the populations

.
WHICH NUTRIENTS ARE FORTIFIED IN FATS AND OILS?
Based on the guidelines and other available information, most of the countries in the East African Region And in the larger Africa have initiated national programs on oil fortification with vitamin A; and wheat flour, maize meal/ maize flour fortification with iron, zinc, folic acid, niacin, vitamin B-1, B-2 and B-12 and vitamin A. Sugar fortification with vitamin A has also been considered as a way of supplementing other sources of the vitamin in order to prevent and reduce problems associated with the deficiency of this vitamin. Fats and oils are considered to be some of the most cost effective, technically feasible and widely used vehicle for vitamins A, D and E because the three vitamins are fat soluble and fats and oils, to a greater extent, are centrally processed. Vegetable fats and oils are also consumed by nearly by everyone
SOURCE: http://www.eac-quality.net
DO THE MICRONUTRIENTS REMAIN STABLE?
The micronutrients used to fortify fats and oils are found to be stable. However, the stability of the vitamins used to nutrify fats and oils is dependant on many factors. One important factor that needs to be taken into consideration is the quality of the refined oil because if the oil is partially oxidized, it will result in the oxidation of the vitamins added to the oil. Besides the oil needs to be packed in opaque, air tight containers where in the head space of the container is flushed with an inert gas like nitrogen. This will prevent the oil from oxidation that may be caused due to the exposure to air and light. Further, antioxidants need to be added to increase the shelf life, so as to prevent oil from turning rancid. These antioxidants will further also protect the vitamins thereby providing stability to the micronutrients used in fortification. In order to account for the minor processing losses, the appropriate overages are also taken into consideration. However, an important point to be kept in mind is that, repeated use of these fats or oils in frying foods will affect the stability of these vitamins.

HAS THERE BEEN ANY CRITICSM TO THE FORTIFICATION PROCESS?
Several organizations such as the WHO, FAO, Health Canada , and the Nestlé Research Center acknowledge that there are limitations to food fortification. Within the discussion of nutrient deficiencies the topic of nutrient toxicities can also be immediately questioned. Fortification of nutrients in foods may deliver toxic amounts of nutrients to an individual and also cause its associated side effects. As seen with the case of fluoride toxicity below, the result can be irreversible staining to the teeth. Although this may be a minor toxic effect to health, there are several that are more severe.[8]
The WHO states that limitations to food fortification may include human rights issues indicating that consumers has the right to choose if they want fortified products or not, potential for insufficient demand of the fortified product, increased production costs that may lead increase retail costs, and the potential that the fortified products will still not be a solution to nutrient deficiencies amongst low income populations who may not be able to afford the new product and children who may not be able to consume adequate amounts.[2]
Food safety worries led to legislation in Denmark in 2004 restricting foods fortified with extra vitamins or minerals. Products banned include: Rice Crispies, Shreddies, Horlicks, Ovaltine and Marmite.[9]
Danes said [Kelloggs] Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies and Special K wanted to include "toxic" doses which, if eaten regularly, could damage children's livers and kidneys and harm fetuses in pregnant women.[10]
ARE THERE ANY HEALTH BENEFITS TO THE FORTIFICATION OF FATS AND OILS?
• Food fortification helps in reducing the rate of illness in children and the rate of death at an early age due to malnutrition. This shows a positive effect of food fortification.
• Food fortification is also found to be effective and beneficial for children's growth and development.
• Fortified foods, being nutrient dense, provides stamina and the energy.

Ladies and
gentlemen I greet you! Thank you so much for joining us today for this moment
of defining history which marks the presentation of visions and goals on paper,
that, given the opportunity and cooperation, can be turned to reality.
INTRO:
I congratulate my
fellow colleagues cum competitors, who have shown that indeed Daystar is built
upon hard work and enterprise of its people. That is why I am ready to support
and cooperate with any of them in case I am voted in.
I chose to vie for
this post with an aim of bringing a new dawn to the status quo of the past
leadership. A new leadership based on boldness and charisma but above all, one
that is entirely engineered and driven by servant hood.
MY VISION:
To bring a new
dawn in the sporting and recreation culture of Daystar, powered by soul power;
a desire to win; engine up by servant leadership and grounded up by ideas,
combined from my fellow students.
MY GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS:
a.
Popularize
more fun and recreation indoor games like draughts and chess.
b.
Support
and represent, to the relevant body, talented athlete students in terms of
insurance support, sports scholarship e.t.c. days where students would go to
sporting events in faraway towns and end up buying for themselves food and
paying their accommodation are over.
c.
To
establish Daystar as Talents Centre- nurture, grow and support new talent.
d.
Champion
for more sporting opportunities and events especially for the Valley Road
Campus students.
e.
Form
a formidable cheering squad driven by fellow students.
f.
Use
sports as a way to win new believers into the Christian faith in terms of
trusting God for victories in prayer; organizing outreach sporting mission
activities to the community, slums and children homes.
g.
Come
up with other recreation events such as “Fanatics nights”, where sporting fans
can have an evening to meet, share, chat and connect. Champion also the
introduction of a “Jersey Day” either in the culture week or during the
semester- where we can all don our teams’ jerseys and feel proud.
The Good Book declares that it takes two to
agree for them to walk. Well, I am proposing to you an agreement to undertake
this journey with me. A journey has challenges like fatigue and it is not
definitely not a bed of roses.
